Macham is from Maikatako, Butura, in Bokkos Local Government of Plateau State. He is an Architect, Radio Political Analyst and also a Human Rights Activist. He has a zest for for helping helpless communities. An ardent reader and a lover of arts.
Macham’s education career started out in Redeem Pupils Academy where he obtained his first school leaving certificate. From there he proceeded to the Boys Secondary School Gindiri in the year 1996 where he graduated and received his Senior School Certificate in the year 2002. His love for education and doggedness made him strife for greater knowledge. Macham then proceeded to the prestigious University of Jos to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Macham has not stopped his quest for education and he is currently studying business administration at the National Open University of Nigeria.
Macham’s career has been exposed to working in the public and private sector. During his Youth service programme in Abuja, Macham was privileged to serve with the Department of Development Control under the Federal Capital Development Authority. Macham Makut was a staff of the Housing Alliance Limited between the period of March 2013 to the year 2015. He has been able to thrive in business and private practice. Macham is the CEO of Kayhappuch Global services, a company known for the delivery of quality services. Macham also owns the online News Platform Whistle Nigeria.
Macham’s passion for humanity and Justice has led him to be at the forefront of seeking for Justice for victims of killer herdsmen attacks and he is a weekly Political Analyst on a local radio station, Tin City Fm Jos in Plateau State and also a guest analyst on various radio and TV shows. Macham has led various calls for fairness and Justice for the weak and vulnerable. He has also been an avocate in raising awareness for the IDP’s on the Plateau.
Macham Makut has been a lover of Politics and proper representation. This is evident in his representation of his Department then while he was in the University as a Member of parliament. This has so far made it easy for Macham to join secular politics in the year 2018 to seek justice and fairness for all via the ballot box. Macham is currently a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP)
Macham is a strong believer of sanctity for human life and existence. He is a Christian but also believes in the freedom of religious practice. He spends most of his time in self building by reading books and watching educative documentaries.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
