We lost but won because of you…
A year ago we set out for the sit of the state house of assembly under Bokkos Constituency.
The first thought on our minds then was how we could contribute our quota in nation building and bring about succor to our people suffering in the grassroots.
We rolled out the campaigns as greenhorns not knowing what to expect and what the future had for us but we had a firm believe that when we weave out our plans on the head of the political sphere, we were sure that as servants of progress posterity was certainly going to be kind to us.
Looking back at the elections and how everything played out, we are amazed as to how we were able to achieve so much with meager resources at our disposal. This in itself is victory. This is a product of God’s grace, great family and awesome friends that stood by us without needing to request for your support. We can’t thank you much.
We won in every sense of it because for every obstacle we faced along the way, there was a ready solution available. A proof that with resilience and hardwork the sky is indeed our starting point. We were able to fulfill our set out goals of meeting the needs of our people in the grassroots through provision of free medical health care services and also helping communities that lacked clean and affordable water through the provision of wells to some communities in dire need of such. We intend to continue this, for us it is not all about the elections but the people.
When it became obvious that the tides won’t favour our sail, we knew that we were victorious and this victory was indeed possible because of those of you that believed and supported this dream. We lost the votes but you helped us win the hearts of many forever. Thank you very much.
As the re-run is set to hold on the 23rd of march 2019, we wish all those that will participate in it success and be sure that the winner will have our support in achieving his set out goals.
God bless you all.
